New Year’s Day Holiday Schedule

In observance of the New Year holiday, the Railroad Commission of Texas will close at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and remain closed through Friday, January 2, 2026. Normal business operations will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026.

R-3 Gas Processing Plants Report

The monthly R-3 Gas Processing Plant Report provides filings from gas processing plants reporting to the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC). Beginning September 15, 2025, these reports are available for download as JSON files by year/month. Each month contains the R-3s that were approved during the month listed. Ex. September’s JASON File should contain most of August’s reporting month but may contain reports from other months. 

Note: The legacy EBCDIC dataset retired on August 25, 2025. The JSON dataset replaces that format and includes a clear, documented schema for easier use in modern systems.
