PR Discrepancy Code Explanations

The information below explains discrepancy codes that you may receive when attempting to file your PR reports online.

The following tables list the possible PR filing discrepancies and associated resolutions. The discrepancy messages are grouped alphabetically by oilgas, and commingle.

Oil Discrepancies
Discrepancy Reason & Resolution
CSGD GAS NO OIL Reason: Report shows casinghead gas but no oil production.
Resolve: If report is incorrect then file amended. Otherwise, if lease produces gas-no-oil for three consecutive months, file a G-1 and any other information to reclassify to a gas well.
CSGD-INVALID DISPOSITION CODE Reason: Report shows a casinghead disposition code that was either omitted or is invalid.
Resolve: Refile with the correct and valid code.
CSGD-OUT OF BALANCE Reason: The formation production volume must equal disposition volume.
Resolve: File a corrected report.
COND-CODE 75-NEEDS EXPLANATION

Reason:

Reported condensate disposition Code 75 and did not include a remark, or the remark is invalid.
Resolve: File a corrected report and include a remark indicating the use of this code. If this code was incorrect, refile with the correct code.
OIL-OUT OF BALANCE Reason: The on hand beginning of month volume plus production minus disposition volumes must equal the volume on hand, end of month.
Resolve: File a corrected report. However, if previous end of month balance is in error, file a corrected report for the previous month to tie in to this month's report.
OIL-INVALID DISPOSITION CODE Reason: Report shows a liquid disposition code that is either invalid or has been omitted.
Resolve: File a corrected report with a valid disposition code.
OIL-CODE 3-R2 FACILITY REQ. Reason: Reported liquid disposition Code 3 and did not indicate the name of the professional commercial tank service and/or R-2 facility name and number.
Resolve: File a corrected report and include the professional commercial tank service and R-2 facility name and number in the Remarks box.
OIL-CODE 8-INCLUDE IN PROD AMT Reason: Reported disposition Code 8 in Column 8.
Resolve: Skim liquid allocated needs to be added into production amount in Column 6. If incorrect code was used, file with correct code.
OIL-CODE 4-MOVEMENT LTR REQ. Reason: Reported liquid disposition Code 4 but a notification letter was not received by the District office or Austin, or a letter was received but the amount does not agree.
Resolve: If the code used was incorrect, file with a valid code. Otherwise, file a corrected report and include in the Remarks box where the stock was used as circulating oil.
OIL-CODE 6-R2 FACILITY REQ. Reason: Reported liquid disposition Code 6 and did not indicate the name of the professional commercial tank service and/or R-2 facility name and number.
Resolve: File a corrected report and include the professional commercial tank service and R-2 facility name and number in the Remarks box.
PRODUCTION ON INACTIVE LEASE Reason: The RRC Identifier you reported has been removed off schedule.
Resolve: Remove this RRC Identifier from all future PR forms provided there is no stock on hand. If production was reported in error, file an amended report with zeros to remove production figures. Refile the production amount under the correct RRC Identifier.
