Proposed Form Amendments

This page lists proposed changes to Railroad Commission of Texas forms that are currently under consideration. 
For each revision, the information below will provide:

  1. a link to the current version of the form;
  2. a link to the proposed form as amended;
  3. a synopsis of the proposed changes; and
  4. the status of the proposed amendment:
    1. Considered – a proposed amendment under consideration by staff but not yet brought forward for consideration by the Commission;
    2. Proposed – a proposed amendment that has been presented to the Commission for consideration; or
    3. Adopted – a proposed amendment that has been approved by the Commission for adoption.

The proposed amendments to CNG Form 1007 are related to the proposed Chapters 13 rule changes, that went to conference for comment on October 11, 2022. The proposed amendments separate the truck registration process into multiple forms and adds instructions for completing the form, which will make the process more efficient for industry and staff.

Summary of Changes

The proposed amendments to CNG Form 1501 are related to the proposed Chapters 13 rule changes, that went to conference for comment on October 11, 2022. The proposed amendments to CNG Form 1501 correct the installation capacity from standard cubic feet water volume to standard cubic feet and formatting changes including the addition of instructions for completing the form, which will make the process more efficient for industry and staff.

Summary of Changes
Proposed changes to the Form P-18 Skim Oil/Condensate Report include additional areas that provide the filer the ability to identify specific gathering system location information, disposal well API numbers, the total number of gathering system oil leases or gas wells, allow for consolidated P-18s for interconnected water disposal and networks, and total barrels of Out of State Produced Water. The form has been converted to a fillable PDF and the instructions have been modified to provide detailed instructions for filers.
