Texas.Gov Payments General Maintenance

Notice to Operators: RRC Online Payments will be unavailable Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 9:30 PM CT to 11:00 PM CT.  During this time, customers using RRC applications will be unable to process online payments through Texas.gov payment services and will be redirected to a maintenance page and unable to complete payments until after the maintenance is complete. 

Texas Westmoreland Coal Company Receives Coal Mining Reclamation Award

The Railroad Commission of Texas has awarded the 2016  Reclamation Award to Texas Westmoreland Coal Company (TWCC) for their Jewett Mine DS E-11 Civil Structure. The civil structure describes TWCC’s implementation of general geomorphic reclamation principles in stream channel restoration at the Jewett Mine. The award was presented to TWCC by Chairman David Porter, Commissioner Christi Craddick and Commissioner Ryan Sitton on March 29, 2016.
