New Year’s Day Holiday Schedule

In observance of the New Year holiday, the Railroad Commission of Texas will close at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and remain closed through Friday, January 2, 2026. Normal business operations will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Notice to Oil & Gas and Pipeline Operators: Winter Weather Outlook

The National Weather Service is predicting chances of snow in parts of the Midland-Odessa and Panhandle regions late Thursday into Friday.

While there is still some uncertainty about the extent of the wintry precipitation, the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) advises all operators under the RRC’s jurisdiction in areas of potential impact to take the following actions:
