Displaced Tanks from Flooding

August 18, 2025

Through a partnership with local propane companies, the RRC has identified all the unclaimed/displaced tanks located during the flood cleanup following last month’s Central Texas flooding.

Those are listed in this spreadsheet: Flood Tanks Kerr Co 301 Propane Holdings

To claim a tank a licensee must first provide proof of ownership to the RRC and then at the pickup from the collection site.

To send proof of ownership to the RRC:
Email safetynoticereply@rrc.texas.gov with the tank(s) being claimed and proof of ownership so that records can be updated and requirements for removing warning tags can be given.

After documentation has been provided to the RRC, please contact the holding site to arrange pickup of your container
