New Process for Registering Employees for AFS Training Events

May 01, 2025

Beginning May 1, Alternative Fuels Safety will implement a new process for licensed companies to register their employees for AFS Training Classes and Exams.

The new registration process is outlined below.

Step 1

The organization’s Delegated Administrator will create a RAMP account for the employee.

  • The administrator must enter a unique email address and a cell phone number.
  • The employee must be able to access both the email account and phone number entered.

Step 2

The administrator will select the RAMP account for their employee from a list of users with the company’s account ID.

  • The employee will then receive an email with a link to the registration which will be sent to the email address entered in the employee’s RAMP account.

Step 3

The employee will login to AFOS and access the registration through a link and complete the process by:

  • Entering their contact information,
  • Entering their social security number, and
  • Acknowledging the declaration statement.

Once the employee submits the updated registration, both the account administrator and the employee will receive a confirmation email.

Further instructions are available here.

For questions, contact the RRC’s Alternative Fuels Training Center at
