Adopted Rulemaking: New §3.82 and amendments to various rules in Chapter 3

Regarding Brine Production Projects and Associated Brine Production Wells and Class V Spent Brine Return Injection Wells

January 29, 2025

At its open meeting on January 29, 2025, the Railroad Commission adopted new §3.82 and amendments to various rules in Chapter 3 to implement the requirements of Senate Bill 1186 (88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023). 

The adoption will be published in the Friday, February 14, 2025, issue of the Texas Register and will be effective February 18, 2025. The PDF version of the adopted rules is available at the link below.
