Due to weather conditions, the RRC headquarters at the William B. Travis Building and the Alternative Fuels Division Promontory Point location in Austin will be closed, Monday, January 26. Winter Weather Closing

January 20, 2025

Due to anticipated dangerous road conditions caused by winter weather in Central Texas, the RRC's William B. Travis (WBT) and Promentory Point buildings as well as the Houston and San Antonio Offices, will be closed on Tuesday, January 21.  Employees will be working from home.

The RRC also maintains a 24-hour, toll-free emergency line, 844-773-0305, to report emergencies, including leaks or spills and damage to gas pipelines.

The RRC advises all operators to monitor road conditions during this week’s winter weather event. Operators can find weather emergency resources including road conditions, TxDOT live traffic cameras, and weather advisories and warnings at https://www.rrc.texas.gov/weather.
